Our story

Shree Swaminarayan Dharamshala began with a simple purpose: give visiting devotees a clean, affordable and dignified place to rest within walking distance of BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Dadar. What started as a handful of rooms for pilgrim families has grown into a well-kept guest house with deluxe AC rooms, family rooms and budget options — while keeping the same modest, service-first spirit.

Most of our guests come for darshan, family functions at the mandir, medical visits to nearby hospitals, or a quiet base while travelling through Mumbai. Because Dadar East sits at the centre of the city's rail network, guests can reach Siddhivinayak Temple, Shivaji Park, South Mumbai and the airport line without long commutes.

We keep things deliberately straightforward. There is no online payment gateway and no booking agent — you speak to the person who actually manages the rooms, on the phone or on WhatsApp, and you get the real rate and real availability for your dates.

House rules

• Pure vegetarian premises — no non-veg food, alcohol or smoking.
• Valid government photo ID required for every adult guest at check-in.
• Quiet hours after 10:30 PM out of respect for other pilgrim families.
• Rooms are held only after a confirmation call — we do not take online prepayments.
• Visitors are welcome in common areas; overnight guests must be registered.
